Monday was a fun day!

On Monday August 17th 2009, Cindi took part of the day off to play with us one last time before Gracie starts 1st grade. So we started the day with a field trip to the Blue Bell Ice cream plant in Broken Arrow! It is a really neat tour. The kids good care less about what the lady were saying but wanted the free ice cream at the end. Here are a few pictures of all of us outside of the creamery!

After our tour we decided to go park hunting for a good park in Tulsa to have Paige's 4th Birthday party at. Well we ended up at Florence park. Tavia is the sweet girl in the white tank top that you see. She is Adam and Cindi's niece. Gracie has really enjoyed being able to hang out with Tavia this summer. She rarely gets to play with kids her own age. Here is a picture of all 5 of the kids playing in the sprinkler.

While everyone is running of course someone has to collide right? Today that was Lauren and Gavin. They collided right into each other and this is a picture of Lauen's boo boo!

I love this next couple of pictures because I feel like I really caught a good picture that tell you the personality of each child. First this is one of Lauren watching where she is going but running.

Then here you have Paige drinking the water and spitting it out.

Then there is Gracie and Tavia who won't stay off the water fountain itself.

Gracie's turn! To feel the pressure of the water.

And then there is the only boy of the bunch..... Gavin. Check this one out I guess when you have to go you just have to go!

After all the excitement of the water it was time to go home. Of course it was another great day with a lot of great entertainment. I am so thankful for all these kids and all they bring to me each day! Thank you Heavenly Father for them..... I can't thank you enough. What a great day!

The party of 5 all fit on the bench. Here is a picture of them all waiting to go inside at the Blue Bell Ice Cream Creamery. What you don't know is that Tavia and Gracie fall off backwards...... It was pretty funny!

A small but meaningful roadtrip!

Jason, the girls and I headed up to Miami, Saturday to join Aunt Tammy and the Harrison side of the family for our 2nd annual "Swim Night"! We were debating a hotel well of course the girls won.... we got a hotel and stayed the night at the Microtel Inn. Gracie and Paige were so excited that Anna got to stay the night with us. We went to Aunt Tammy's house to visit with family and wait for more to show up. Then off to the pool we went. While Uncle Justin and his friend Gary prepared the ribs. We each brought a side item to go along with ribs. There were a lot of pasta salads and beans! Food was all great, wish I could of ate more but the kids would not let me stay out of the water long! They all loved the slides so much! I don't have any good pictures of the big pool because I was in the water with them. Gracie was too big for the little pool so I don't have a good one of her either. The picture above is of Paige playing in the kiddie pool. Mike brought Gavin and Kailah too!

Gavin had a blast going down the medium size slide. Everytime he would go down he would go underwater but he would immediantly say "I wanna go again ....... PLEAAAASSSSEEEEE!" Gracie was a big girl and hung with the big girls. She went down all the slides as well. This is the best picture I have of her.

All in all it was a wonderful night with a great family! It is great that even though we don't see each other a lot that we can catch up right where we left off the last time. I love all my family so much and I am so thankful for them all. We woke up Sunday morning and the girls swam some more with Anna in the hotel pool. Then we packed up and headed home.

Can you believe all the trips to Miami and we have never stopped at what use to be the world's largest McDonald's? We are always in a hurry going there then on the way home it is too late! Gracie has always wanted to go so on the way home we decided to stop. Gracie was so excited! Well...... then I had to give her a little history about Will Roger's!
